So we thought we'd have a look back at your orders to see which of our prints was the most popular. Clearly, and at the very top of the list, was Norfolk!

Spectacular Norfolk

So what is it that makes Norfolk such a special place for so many of you? Having travelled up and down the country to almost every county, at Bombus we know that Norfolk is entirely unique. The scenery alone is remarkable and unlike anywhere else in the UK. Not to mention the scale of the diversity within one county.

Norfolk Broads National Park

When people think of Norfolk they will undoubtedly think first of the Norfolk Broads. The Broads are a National Park that covers over 125 miles of navigable waterways.

Visitors to the area can hire barges and boats, and spend days floating through some of the most picturesque and charming villages. Wroxham is known as the heart of the Broads, where you can start your journey or just pitch up your boat for a Sunday lunch at a pub or cup of tea at one of the many cafes.

Our top tip for the Broads is to visit Hickling Broad nature reserve where you can see all the wildlife that Norfolk has to offer.

The Fens

Another truly unusual landscape, the Fens in Norfolk are a manmade stretch of marshland. Flat and rich in nutrients they are perfect for farming and as such support a great deal of wildlife and biodiversity.

Also in amongst the rivers Great Ouse, Little Ouse, Bedford and Nene rivers, are endless examples of medieval architecture for you to visit.

Seal Spotting at Horsey

Norfolk is the perfect place to visit if you want to spot seals in the wild. Horsey beach has a massive seal colony, as do other locations up and down the Norfolk coast. The best time to see these rather sweet creatures is between November and October, but there are still plenty of opportunities all year round.

It's important to respect the delicate and important environment surrounding these wild animals, so if you're thinking of making a trip be sure to check out the dos and don'ts of seal spotting here.

The Norfolk Coast

Craggy coastlines and pebble and sandy beaches. Norfolk is known for some of the best beaches outside of the South West.

Great Yarmouth is the perfect spot for a traditional family seaside holiday.
Stretches of beach with all the facilities you could need for a fish and chip, ice cream, and sand castle day at the beach. Where as if you head to Cromer you can tuck into some of the world's finest seafood. Fill up on Cromer crab, or any manner of fresh seafood from the day's catch.

The coastline stretches for miles and miles and the walks hover above, over, and along the North Sea.

Visit Norwich

Norwich is the largest of only three cities in the county of Norfolk. And it is a city with it's own personality and zest.

Street scene of Norwich, Norfolk

In a similar fashion to Bristol on the West coast of England, Norwich in the East attracts a large number of artists and performers. Full of creative boutiques, performance spaces, and studios, it has a lot to offer any visitor.
Not to mention a thriving food scene with some of the country's best chefs clamouring to open up restaurants amongst the five Michelin Star establishments in the city.

Our top pick for a fabulous bite to eat when visiting would be the independent pizza restaurant Brick Pizza in the heart of the city.
