We designed this collection in house at our Bombus Oast House studio in Kent. And since we first made the little nutcracker soldier, the set has been one of our all time favourites.
Our crew of talented Studio Artists are responsible for the design of all of our Christmas decorations. We spend ages drawing new and exciting keepsakes for our baubles. It helps that we LOVE Christmas at Bombus, so coming up with new festive pieces is a fun experience. New designs are passed around the whole studio for people to comment on, tweak, and delight over before they are finally approved by our Director Amelia.
Each token is laser cut in our studio, and we paint each piece individually by hand. Our inspiration can come from anywhere, but this set was 100% inspired by our childlike excitement and love of Christmas Eve, waiting for Santa to arrive.
