Twenty years ago our Director Amelia made her first Bombus Map Heart Card. And the rest, as they repeatedly say, is history.

We designed our Bombus Heart to make the most out of the materials we use in our gifts. And we specially considered the shape to highlight the details of all the maps we use. A line that gives enough space within the design to include as much of the chosen map location as possible.

It's deliberately designed, and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. After all, It's all about the map. And once we had perfected our heart, we turned it into a full range of classic Bombus gifts.

But at Bombus we're never ones to sit still and let our designs get stagnant. We've incorporated our heart into a number of variations of our framed artwork. By taking the lead from our customers we've used it in hanging Christmas decorations, table place settings, and even on wrapping paper!

And as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, our talented studio artists have done it again.

We've looked at our best-selling map bottle keepsake, and combined it with our timeless design. And we've created this beauty!

And it doesn't stop there map heart fans!
Thanks to the overwhelming response to our newest white box frames, we've designed another variation of our framed map heart artwork.
Again we take your personally chosen map location, and bond it onto sustainably sourced birch wood. It is then laser cut to create a 3D heart, which we mount on textured watercolour paper.

Then your own words are then printed above and below the heart, and the art work is mounted in one of our beautiful solid wood white box frames.
